About

Hi there! I am a 27 year old Make Up Artist from Ireland based in London. I have a degree in Broadcast Journalism and an NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy from the London College of Beauty Therapy. I have a huge passion for writing, beauty and of course Make-up and after much encouragement from family and friends, I have started this blog.

I started out as a Styling Assistant on XFactor which exposed me to the world of make up and after some freelance jobs in production, I finally bit the bullet and went back to school to study beauty and make up. Whilst at college I won the title of Make up Artist of the year and after qualifying I started working on various Make up counters around London to refine my skills. I now work for MAC Cosmetics as well as doing my own freelance work and have been lucky enough to be a part of some really exciting projects.ย I hope to share all the tips and tricks, opinions and skills that I pick up on my journey in the the beauty industry and fingers crossed you enjoy reading about them!

  1. Hi! Thank you so much for following my blog,. it means the world to me! :)) by the way, can I get some tips on how to make product reviews? I’m new to the blogging scene so I need all the help I can get. Thank you once again!

  2. Hi Stephyy! Thank you for the follow also! I can’t believe you’re new to blogging, your blog is awesome. I have just started myself so I’m not the most experienced but I just give my honest opinion on products that I have bought or that I use. My main focus is makeup and skin/body care as I am a makeup artist and am qualified in beauty therapy so they are my interests. I usually include some photos of the products and if it is makeup then perhaps a photo of me wearing the product. Hope that helps! xxx

  3. Aww. Thanks Eithne! I am new to blogging! I’m still trying to find the main focus of my blog. But as you can see… it’s more on inspirational stuff. Anyways, Thanks for the tips! I will surely follow them. I wanted to post this review on a cream that helps lighten dark circles since they have been holding onto me for dear life.. By the way, do you know any remedies for that? AND OH! I wanted to ask you this! any makeup tips for darker complexion? I don’t really have dark skin.. but at the same time not white.. so yeah ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks pretty eithne! ๐Ÿ™‚ (i so badly wanna go to London! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Awww you are more than welcome Stephyy! I think your blog looks great! As for dark circles, yep they are stubborn little things, I chop and change eyecreams all the time but at the moment I’m using a Burts Bees one called Radiance and I love it! its all natural, which I love and it smells delicious! For covering them I am a huge fan of Bobbi Browns corrector and concealer, it is on the pricey side but it really is the best I have come across (Kate Middleton is a fan and even wore it on her wedding day!) I think MAC do an amazing range of foundations and products for darker complexions, you can go in and they will do a complimentary foundation match for you and advise you on the best products for your skin type (I use Studio Fix Fluid as its formulated for oily/combination skin and I love it!) I’m loving London myself you should definately come! I’m sure you would love it! xxx

  6. Eithne!

Thank you so much for liking my recent post. Let me start by stating that you are absolutely stunning!, and I am quite smitten with your blog all together. Very inspiring, honest and witty – and who doesn’t like their fair share of wit? Both J and I are looking forward to your posts; especially me, since I seem to be the make-up junkie between the two of us.
